What's ailing you?

An associate of mine swears by the “Blood Type Diet”, she suffers from Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  As you may already know, Montel Williams is battling this disease. Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system).  Montel shared his struggles with this disease on national television. I, along with so many others appreciate the fact he shared his ordeal and made his story public.  We love you Montel Williams and everyone else suffering from this affliction, continue to stay encouraged and we will keep you in our prayers.

Even if you believe that eating according to your blood type or conforming to any other specially designed meal plan is a hoax, it seems to make a difference to those people suffering from this disease.  I personally know that food affects my mood and I don’t need a doctor to tell me that.  According to the “Blood Type Diet”, blood type A’s should practice a vegetarian diet.   Most people who have always been carnivores lean more towards adapting a flexitarian lifestyle,  meaning they’d eat more vegetables than meat.  Why not try it for a week or so?  Create a food diary and jot down what you ate and how you felt.

If cooking a variety of vegetables and grains seems like too big of a task for you to handle, then you may be more apt to considering Majani Vegan Catering service until you can get your bearings.  They offer delicious, healthy and convenient meals to your doorstep. To learn more or start a meal plan call (708) 365-8205.  My name is Hollijoy and I've enjoyed food by "Chef T" for years.  Keep Majani Catering in mind and remember you don't have to do this alone.  Best of luck and realize that you are ultimately the decider!
